Fresh from attending London Bridal Week, I’m excited to share details of some of the hottest wedding looks of the year and, more specifically, the top bridal accessory trends for 2023.
As the biggest event in the UK bridal fashion calendar, the event showcased the latest designs from leading wedding dress and accessory designers (including yours truly!), which form the top bridal trends for the year ahead.
I love nothing more than forecasting what the top big-day fashions will be months in advance, then carefully weaving such influences into my designs to deliver beautifully on-trend accessories to modern brides.
In terms of wedding dress designs for 2023, the Bridal Week catwalk was awash with enchanting floral detailed gowns, heavenly tulle creations and modern princess-style dresses, as well as those with imaginative texture and super romantic ruffles.
The leading bridal accessory looks meanwhile beautifully complemented such trends whilst encouraging fashion-forward brides to reflect their own unique style, as we’re about to discover.

Tying in with those bloom-adorned dresses that dominated the catwalk, ethereal romance forms one of the top accessory looks for the coming year. This look lends itself particularly well to those planning outdoor garden nuptials or elegant marquee celebrations, giving a stylish nod to the nature-filled surroundings.

So, we’re talking delicate floral and pretty pearl designs through to head-turning headpieces adorned with impactful porcelain blooms. Other big-day finishing touches spotted at London Bridal Week included magical, flowing capes, which provide a beautiful bridal cover-up whilst adding impact and drama, particularly those with long trains. Likewise, pretty, oversized hair bows delivered on the head-turning-accessories-front with some trailing all the way to the floor. Finally, theatrical bridal gloves were big news; some were delicate, sheer and elegant in barely-there tulle, and others were made from more striking fabrics or finished with flirty ruffles.
